Fee Simple ain’t Simple

Course description:

This course will review topics related to the concepts of Fee Simple in market value appraisals.  Appraisal report issues pertaining to stating the interest will be discussed.  An overview of the history of Fee Simple will be reviewed.  Case problems which relate to reporting will be reviewed.  The objective of this course is for appraisers to gain a better understanding of what is required in the valuation of real property held with Fee Simple interests.

This course will review topics related alternative valuation products (AVP); bifurcated, hybrid, and evaluations.   Valuation report issues pertaining to using these products will be discussed.   There will be a brief overview of the USPAP issues related to these products.  Case problems which relate to reporting will be reviewed.  The objective of this course is for appraisers to gain a better understanding of what is required in the valuation of real property using alternative valuation products (AVP); bifurcated, hybrid, and evaluations.
